The Role ? Sales Engineer

We?re a fast paced social enterprise software company looking for a Sales Engineer with SaaS product experience, outstanding communication skills, technical acumen and an ability to build successful relationships with customers. The Sales Engineer interacts with customers to execute the technical aspects of the sales strategy by developing appropriate solutions and building technical relationships. The Sales Engineer resolves technical issues arising during the sales engagement, helps clients define specifications and requirements, develops solutions, and provides technology presentations to both technical and management-level audiences.

Responsibilities:
? Support the sales team through direct client interaction evoking confidence in our products and platform and removing all technical objections throughout the sales cycle
? Be confident in presenting and articulating the business value of Buddy Media?s social marketing suite to managers and executives of all levels
? Collect feedback from the field, synthesize and present to Product Management and Engineering
? Attend customer meetings in person and via the phone to advise customers on technical aspects of Buddy Media products including fit to customers? need
? Deliver product and technical related responses on RFPs/RFIs
? Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently

Qualifications:
? 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer in a fast-paced work environment.
? 3+ years of SaaS product experience
? Proven track record of supporting field sales professionals on enterprise accounts
? Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems
? Effectively develop relationships and communicate with high-level customer technical staff
? Expert knowledge of the full LAMP stack
? Solid understanding of OOP and data structures
? Comfortable with managing large sets of data
? Working knowledge of CSS, iQuery
? Proficient in managing data with MySQL
? Can implement elegant and robust solutions while adhering to coding standard
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? BS or MS in Computer Science
