In the Group B match of the ongoing Asian Cricket Council Under-19 Elite Cup, Kuwait Under-19s pulverised Qatar Under-19s by 202 runs, leaving their opponents in complete disarray at Selangor Turf Club, Kuala Lumpur (neutral venue).

Qatar Under-19s, who chose to field after winning the toss, were left on the mercy of the batsmen as Kuwait openers ZL Ali and MF Ali gave their side a brilliant start of 40 runs, before ZL Ali was trapped in front of stumps by Baig after scoring only five runs.

The with 50 on the scorecard, the batting side lost the services of MF Ali, who was dismissed by Uzair Amir after jabbing an impressive knock of 31 runs.

MM Ali and Ali Zaheer then continued the batting onslaught as the two batsmen hammered the bowlers all around the park, keeping the fielders on their toes. This batting partnership led the side towards 89 runs, before fans saw Ali lose his wicket after scoring 32 runs.

The next partnership took the game away from the fielding side as Zaheer and Faizaan Sidiq incinerated the bowlers by hammering them everywhere without a hint of remorse. The two batsmen, with their deadly combination, managed to take their side towards 167 runs, after which it was time for Zaheer to find his way off the field as he was run out with 55 runs under his belt.

SJ Arul was then the next batsmen to lose his wicket as he fell after scoring only six runs, leaving his side stranded on 183.
